Because Perfect World sometimes misnames monsters and some places have bewildering names, I asked myself one time, “Why is Skeleton Mountain called Skeleton Mountain when there are no skeleton monsters around?”

And here’s the answer to the question:

There’s this quest at Level 55, I think, that one is asked to look for a Harmonious Tranquility Record.  No coordinates are provided in the quest and trying to search for the coordinates on the pwboards is quite taxing.  So here, I’m giving the exact coordinates and a photo so you’ll know what to look for.

You can find a chest, which you need to dig out, at 692 835.  It’s in the middle of Wuji sea and can be found among the shipwreck.  One has to be careful, though, because it’s utterly surrounded by sirens and sharks.  So clear the area first before starting to dig.

And another good news is that starting 3 p.m. today until 3 p.m. of April 24, there will be a boost in experience and soul points:

As a token of his gratitude to the citizens for saving him from the Dusk Palace Curse, The Jade Emperor Justice used his divine influence to boosts Experience and Soul rates from April 17 (3:00PM) – 24 (3:00PM) in hopes that this will aid Perfect World’s brave citizens in exploring the Dark and Evil Dusk Palace.

I should my game revved up today and for the next few days, so I could get my Dusk Palace quests already. I’m very curious as to what new monsters there’ll be to kill. And yup, I’ve to save up a LOT of yuans so I could get a new wardrobe and flight.

And, just as I’ve suspected, the Dusk Palace (or city) is set near Fei Wei Town. That’s the place I often bump into the place called “unopened”. And now, it’s Dusk Palace!

And since there’s a new patch, it’s expected that there’ll be a server maintenance.  Will just be patient to wait for it to finish, so I won’t have problems with gold, yuans, and my quest-taking.

Sometimes, quests that ask you to look for something, instead of killing monsters, can really be frustrating.  Without any help, it can be downright hair-splitting.  The Backpack quest is one of them.  Though the coordinates are given by some players, they do not specify that you do have to FLY up just to get this backpack.  It’s actually on top of the crown of one of the Big Statues in the middle of Dragon City.  The coordinates are 559 646 elevation 29.

Do remember the location of these statues because there are lots of quests that will lead you here.

Well, hopefully it will be almost near our reach, as PW site has already announced that the new patch is Dusk Palace:
